Sail beyond Coron’s well-known circuit on a five-day, fully-inclusive expedition aboard Datu Harana — our purpose-built expedition vessel with just seven private double cabins on board. This route pushes further than any of our other departures: past Coron’s iconic lakes and lagoons, into the untouched West Busuanga island group, along a string of remote reefs, and on to the traditional village of Canopi, before concluding at Dipnay. Every night is spent at anchor under open sky, every meal is taken care of, and the itinerary is built around moments — a private lunch on a floating platform, a beach bonfire, a swim with turtles — you won’t find on a standard island-hopping tour.

Description
Datu Harana is a 100-foot expedition vessel purpose-built to reach the parts of Northern Palawan that most boats never see. This five-day, four-night voyage begins in Coron Town and threads through the Calamianes' limestone lakes and lagoons before turning west into the Busuanga island group — a stretch of coastline defined by uncrowded cays, quiet reefs, and villages still living by the rhythm of the sea. From there, the route curves back through some of the region's finest reef and lagoon diving, stops at the traditional village and school of Canipo, and finishes with a turtle swim at Bulawit before a scenic drop-off at Dipnay.
Accommodation on board is private throughout: seven double cabins, each accommodating two guests, with no shared or bunk-style rooms on this itinerary. The trip is priced all-inclusive — meals, non-alcoholic beverages, guided activities, permits, and crew are all part of the fare, so once you're aboard, there's nothing left to plan.

BUSUANGA ISLANDS

TRANSFERS: Van Transfer from your hotel in Coron town to the pier, then boat transfer to Datu Harana.
On the first day of the expedition, Datu Harana cruises to the West Busuanga islands, home to world-renowned WWII Japanese shipwrecks and some of the region’s finest snorkeling spots, including Lusong Wreck and Coral Bay. From there, we continue to either Black Island, known for its hidden cave and white-sand beach, or Debotunay Island, one of our favorite islands in the area. In the afternoon, we cruise on to Pass Island for sunset. Over dinner on board, Datu Harana cruises back toward the Coron area, where the vessel will moor near Baia Serena for the night.

Black Island and Cave

The second day opens early at Kayangan Lake, the emerald-green lake frequently ranked among the cleanest in Asia, followed by a swim-through experience at Pukaway Cave and the calm, clear waters of Blue Lagoon. Guests return to Datu Harana for lunch on board before continuing to Smith Beach and Coral Bay for swimming and snorkeling. You then arrive at Pusod Lagoon — reserved exclusively for your party — before continuing to BBH Beach for sunset. Dinner is served on board as Datu Harana cruises toward its overnight mooring near Twin Lagoon.

Accessible via a short 10-minute climb from a scenic lagoon, it offers breathtaking views and a unique mix of freshwater and saltwater. Timing your visit for midday (around 12:00 PM) is a strategic way to avoid crowds. This allows for a more tranquil experience of the stunning underwater rock formations and vibrant scenery.
Pukaway cave
TOURIST DENSITY: Possible other tourists.
Pukaway Cave, located near Kayangan Lake and accessible by dinghy. This cave was recently discovered by the indigenous Tagbanwa tribe while they were searching for bird nests. Although the access is a bit steep, the cave's lake and the opportunity to swim inside are truly wondrous experiences.
BLUE LAGOON

Blue Lagoon is arguably the finest snorkeling destination on Coron Island. Begin by exploring its two natural pools, where vivid blue waters shimmer in the sunlight, and wander through the secluded back lagoons. Afterwards, dive into the vibrant coral reefs and snorkel your way all the way to the renowned Smith Reef, encountering an abundance of marine life along the way.
Smith Beach & CORAL GARDEN

TWIN LAGOON, SECRET BEACH AND MALCAPUYA

The third day opens at Twin Lagoon, where two strikingly different bodies of water meet, separated by a narrow limestone passage that guests can swim or paddle through. From there, Datu Harana continues to the Secret Cave and a nearby local fisherman’s village, offering a glimpse of island life away from the usual tourist routes. The journey then continues to Secret Beach, where guests can enjoy lunch, swimming, and time to relax before heading to Malcapuya Island, known for its powder-white sand and turquoise waters. As the day winds down, Datu Harana settles into a peaceful evening moored near Malcapuya or Ditaytayan.

The Twin Lagoons of Coron Island are another highly visited yet stunning location in Busuanga. This must-see attraction features two breathtaking lagoons separated by a thin limestone wall. To enjoy the lagoons at their best, we'll time our visit between early morning 7.30am, when most tourist groups are having lunch on nearby beaches. This strategic timing allows us to experience the Twin Lagoons' beauty with fewer crowds.
HARANA HIDDEN BEACH

This is the new exclusive and extraordinary destination of the Harana Collection, reserved only for LXV and Harana guests. This breathtaking and completely untouched hidden paradise features a secluded white sand beach nestled between dramatic limestone cliffs.
Discover its crystal-clear interior lake, swim in a stunning natural lagoon, and explore the untouched beauty surrounding this secret escape. On the nearby beach, adventurous guests can also visit an underwater cave and enjoy cliff jumping in one of Palawan’s most spectacular hidden settings.

CULION ISLANDs

Start the day with the pristine beauty of Ditaytayan Island, arriving around 8:00 AM for a morning of turquoise waters, white-sand beaches and relaxed island exploration. Continue to Canipo Island at 10:00 AM, including a visit to Canipo Village for a glimpse into local island life and the community.
After a leisurely lunch, head to Araw Beach at 1:30 PM, a beautiful tropical beach ideal for swimming and relaxing. The day concludes at Manlegat Island around 4:00 PM, offering a tranquil final stop before continuing the expedition.
Ditaytayan Sand bar

Ditaytayan is also a wonderful island, recently purchased by Henann Resorts. It is set to become a luxury island resort in the near future. For now, we have the opportunity to step onto its beautiful sandbar and enjoy its pristine beauty.

LINAPACAN

Begin your final morning at Dimanglet Island, a private island reserved for an exclusive and peaceful beach experience. Enjoy its pristine shoreline, clear waters and unspoiled surroundings before continuing to Calacala Island at 10:30 AM.
At 12:30 PM, arrive at Bulawit Turtle Bay, a beautiful coastal setting where you can relax, swim and, when conditions allow, observe the marine life in its natural environment.
In the afternoon, visit Calibang Village at 2:00 PM for an authentic glimpse into local island life and the communities of Palawan. After this final cultural encounter, return to the boat and cruise towards Dipnay Pier, arriving around 4:00 PM, where the expedition comes to an end.
